Refunds and unused days

These rules apply to the assessments on this site: cluster walkthroughs, outage chronologies, overnight desk blocks, and dictionary sessions. They do not describe physical goods, software subscriptions, or crew hire, because those are not sold here.

Eligibility

A refund is available when a confirmed booking is cancelled in writing before work starts, subject to the deposit rules below. “Work starts” means we have opened the extracts or begun the facilitated day, whichever is earlier.

Timeframe to ask

Send a refund request to contact@releasegridpath.digital within fourteen days of the cancellation or of the event that made the booking impossible (for example, the radio room closed and no remote alternative was agreed).

Full and partial refunds

If you cancel more than ten days before the first booked day, prepaid fees are returned in full. If you cancel between ten and three days before, the deposit is kept and the balance is returned. If you cancel inside three days, prepaid fees for the first day are kept; later unused days in the same booking are returned.

Non-refundable items

Deposits that held an on-site two-day window are non-refundable inside the ten-day band above. Travel already purchased with your written approval is non-refundable. A chronology draft that has been delivered is not unwound; remaining revision hours not used may be returned on a pro-rata basis.

Process

Write to contact@releasegridpath.digital with the booking dates and whether extracts were shown. We confirm what has started. Refunds go back by the same method as the original payment within fourteen days of that confirmation. We do not send cash.

Cancellation, postponement, and no-shows

You may postpone once, with five days’ notice, to a window within two months at no extra assessment fee. A no-show on an on-site day, or a remote session where nobody from the desk joins and no files appear, is treated as a start of work for that day. Overnight blocks may be stopped after two weekend notes; unused weeks are returned minus the notes already written.

Work already started and materials

Hours already spent reading extracts are billed. We do not buy spare parts or SIM stock, so there is no materials restocking fee. If a dictionary glossary was already circulated, that day is complete even if a follow-up argument continues internally.

Exceptions

If we cannot attend a booked on-site day for reasons on our side, that day is refunded or rebooked at your choice. If extracts cannot be shown because we refused to bypass access controls, prepaid fees for days not sat are returned; time already sat is billed.
