Reading CSSR without letting the busy hour flatter the rest of the day
CSSR is only as honest as the attempt counter in the denominator. Vendor A and vendor B do not always count a ‘call attempt’ the same way, especially after a 4G/5G split. A dictionary session that skips this point will compare two numbers that never met.
Busy-hour CSSR can look calm while a shoulder hour is unusable. Schools, shift changes, and coastal weekends move the busy hour. Quote the hour you used. If the operator’s monthly pack still prints a single CSSR, keep a second column for the worst hour of the same day.
A quality walkthrough that finds a CSSR hole should also check drops in the same hours. Accessibility without retainability is a different complaint in the call centre. Mixing them in one sentence makes the field team chase the wrong cabinet.
We do not publish a universal CSSR target. Targets belong to the operator’s licence and to the desk’s own history on that cluster. Borrowing a figure from another country’s monthly pack is how a healthy rural face gets treated as failed.
Keep the extract. Screenshots of a dashboard age badly when the colour scale changes. The walkthrough note should cite the file name and the time the file was pulled.
